(historic district), We reduced the overall cost of the exterior and increased the energy efficiency of the project by using an exterior finishing insulation system (EFIS). The EFIS system allowed for a modern expression of an exposed concrete exterior. Glass railings on two front elevation balconies and large glass windows also added to the modern aesthetic.
