Stretching low and long along 115th Avenue, this hotel trades height for horizontal reach, stitching itself into the neighborhood’s small-scale grain with a two-story bar of warm buff stucco and quarry-stone coursing. At the corner the façade pivots into a richly textured maroon volume whose deep overhanging canopy announces the hotel entrance like an abstracted marquee, its soffit washed in gold to glow after dark. Slender slot windows punch rhythmically across both wings, their charcoal frames playing off the rough stone base while bringing daylight deep into double-loaded corridors. Together, these simple yet deliberate moves give the project a grounded civic presence—part storefront, part streetscape backdrop—without ever overwhelming the surrounding residential fabric.
